December 1 Is World Aids Day. Watch The Alicia Keys Live Streaming Concert Tonight.

December 1 is World Aids Day. Between 30 and 40 million people have HIV/Aids. Most of them could be successfully treated and live for decades with the available drugs. But the drug companies charge exorbitant amounts for the drugs, and refuse to release the patents to allow other companies to make an inexpensive generic version which could be distributed by governments at little cost, free of charge to the people in third world countries. The drug companies are backed up in this position by the U.S. Government. As a result of these policies, millions of people have died from HIV/Aids, and millions of children have been orphaned, often with no one to take them in.

Alicia Keys has set up an organization called Keep A Child Alive, link below.

This organization raises money to get drugs and assistance to children with HIV/AIDs. If you can contribute, you can help save a life.

Alicia Keys is having a concert tonight at the Nokia Theater in New York. The concert will be streamed live on
http://youtube.com/aliciakeysSME at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, 5:00 p.m. Pacific time. Or, go to You Tube for the link. I like Alicia Keys. She's very talented, and this seems to be a good organization.

Here's a video of Alicia Keys performing "If I Ain't Got You."
