Who Likes The Moody Blues?
The Moody Blues is a rock group from England, originally starting in Birmingham, beginning their recording career in around 1964. They were part of the English Invasion, gaining success and popularity in both the U.K. and in the United States. The group wrote and performed a sophisticated and evolving form of rock, sometimes recording with symphonies. At one point they planned to do a "rock" version of Dvorjak's "New World Symphony," although that project apparently was never completed.
The Moody Blues has changed a few members over the years, but continues to perform -- that's over 40 years now.
One of their first hits in both the U.K. and the U.S. was "Go Now":

Another one of their very popular songs was "The Story In Your Eyes":
The Story In Your Eyes
One of their best pure rock songs was "I'm Just A Singer In A Rock and Roll Band."
I'm just a wandering on the face of this earth
Meeting so many people
Who are trying to be free
And while I'm traveling
I hear so many words
Language barriers broken
Now we've found the key
And if you want the wind of change
To blow about you
And you're the only other person to know
Don't tell me
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band
